snowflakes, flowers, eagles who walk on stilts and a Golden Penguin who can fly!
All kinds of magical transformations and surprises abound in this
delightful fairytale. It is suitable for children from 6 years old upwards.
Ukraine
born Alla Sirenko is an internationally renowned composer; her many compositions
range from chamber music to film and stage scores. Most recently she played her
own setting of ‘Ave Maria’ at the open-air concert for the Pope during his June
2001 visit to Lviv.

Golden Penguin” was premiered by the Ukrainian State Opera and Ballet Company
of Lviv, in co-operation with British artists – London in November
2001 in Covent Garden (Linbury Studio). It has become part of the main repertoire of the
Ukrainian Opera and Ballet Theatre of Lviv for the next ten years.
